Introduction
Jhalana leopard reserve which is also known as Jhalana safari demesne is India’s first leopard reserve located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Jhalana safari demesne is spread in an area of twenty three square kilometres. Presently, this demesne is home to around thirty to thirty five leopards and five cubs. Out of these, three four leopards have made their home in the tourism area of the demesne. This demesne is positioned veritably near to Jaipur field and sluggishly it’s on its way of getting a favourite safari to spot leopards. Since there’s no competition for these big pussycats in this area, they’ve come more confident and are therefore easy to spot. Occasionally, one can spot the leopards within five twinkles of entering the demesne as the leopards aren’t spooked by jeeps and humans.
Home to other wild Animals
Jhalana was formerly a reserve timber area. Other than leopards, it was home to other wild creatures also similar as blue bulls, hyena, peacocks, monkeys, spotted deer, desert pussycats, cover lizards, mongoose, sambar deer, occupant and migrant catcalls and a diversity of snakes. Jhalana safari demesne has been functional since 2016. In the time 2017, it was linked as a leopard reserve demesne by the Rajasthan timber department. Moment, two safari routes are open for callers. Piecemeal from this, one can also visit”Shikaar Audhi”, which is a three storeyed stalking structure of Jaipur’s royal family. Since it’s located right in the middle of the demesne, one can enjoy leopard finding as well as evening and daylight from there.
Jhalana safari holds a special place in the hearts of wildlife suckers. It’s also one of the notorious wildlife tourism spots in the world. Girdled by the oldest mountains of India, Aravali hills, it’s a fantastic flight to an audacious vacation down from the hustle and bustle of megacity life.
